I observed today July 31st.2013 at 10:00 a.m. the first two viceroys in our nearby Nature Park (on a foot bridge over the marshes the bridge is some 400 meters long / about 1200 feet. The butterflies were feeding on two cadavers of Dragonflies (crushed on the bridges by either bikes or the electric car of the maintenance crews). In 2012 I observed many adult Monarchs even in our back year flower garden (Echinacea) not more than 300 meters (900 feet) away from the park. I also took several other pictures of Blue Herons, 5 Aigrettes, Ducks, Musk Rats, Dragon Flies etc. I am not a teacher but a Nature Photographer and retired VP International of the largest Electrical and Telecom Companies of the world (Siemens, ABB and SR Telecom).
