5:30 + Lone Monarch in yard. First nectaring. Preference was Swamp milkweed in bloom but wasps chased it off; then tropical milkweed and butterfly bush. Last seen simply flying around yard. Looking for mate or place for night? No eggs on plants. Rained later.
