One faded monarch passing through yard. First to be seen this season. Normal arrival date here is about June 15. Latest date I have ever seen. I have been watching over a wide area (50 kilometers) all summer. To bad as this whole area had a bumper crop of milkweed this year. I did the monarch tagging about twelve years ago for two years in this area. Had one found in New Jersey and one in Mexico.
