I am aware of the rarity of Monarch sitings this year. On my daily walks I pass by a restored prairie area with milkweed and other native species. I noticed this Monarch flying from plant to plant. I stayed and watched for several minutes until it flew away. When I visited this web site I noticed that the map did not show many sitings in Minnesota. I will continue to report any sitings here (Northfield) and around the Twin Cities area.
