We keep several feeders going year 'round for our 3 resident ruby-throats. My husband saw a black-chin female on a standard red plastic feeder Sunday, August 11, 2013.

We had a rufous male visit for a couple of months Spring 2013.

Spring 2009 we had between 30 - 50 hummingbirds migrate through the yard for about 10 days.
