Early June found eggs on the butterfly milkweed. My 10 year old daughter and I reared them I'm captivity and they did well . 75 adult monarchs were released. Only 3 didn't survive. We are now on our third "batch" of larvae. The adult butterflies are constantly in our garden. When do they migrate? And our milkweed is dying from aphids! Hope we have enough leaves for this new batch of 30 larvae. Is there a safe way to rid plant of aphids without killing existing eggs and cats on plant?
