Observed 1 male Monarch, a Black Swallowtail, and Painted Ladies in backyard. Mid-way through observing, a second male joined in. The two males fought for much of the time but both stayed around for the next 30 minutes. Did get a couple of shots of their mid-air fighting. I first thought one might be a female, but finally was able to get separate photos to verify that both were males.
