I put my feeder back out 10 days ago after having taken it down about 2 months earlier due to no visits from hummers. But, after talking to some people at my local Wild Birds Unlimited store, I put it back out. And it has been a hive of activity! My feeder is visited by one (sometimes two) hummingbirds every 5-10 minutes, all day long. I am seeing mostly Ruby-throated hummers, but have seen one or two Black-chinned males.
We are having so much fun watching the show!
