Finally I spotted my first two monarchs of the 2013 season. It was a beautiful sunny day @ 79 degrees. The two monarchs were flying in a spiral together, similar to a mating ritual. I have spotted at least 100 Tiger Swallows this year as well as about 40 tiger swallow caterpillers on my dill plants, this is much more than in previous years.
