A mile and a half from our home we saw a Monarch flirting with Milkweed in a country median, a tiny spot that hadn't been mowed, a small Y grassy place in the road with milkweed. Looked very much like egg-laying. Haven't been back to check. Will relocate if there are larvae, if possible.
