Signs of Fall

Date: 08/19/2013

Number: 1

As I was heading home early evening, the lighting was very different casting yellow and gold throughout the evergreen forest. A katydid lit on my fingers in the field that day. It was very warm and still and you could hear the crickets and other insects. The moon is now waxing and later on in the stillness of that night I could hear through my window the hoot hoot of an owl in the upper pasture. We are truly blessed to live in the country!
