One of my colleagues and I were commenting the other day about the fact that we had not yet seen any Monarchs this year, and wondered what had happened? Both my colleague and I live in Lafayette County, MS. He lives just south of Oxford, while I live on the northeastern side of Oxford. We started looking for Monarchs sometime in April 2013 and have continued to look throughout the summer months to present, 20 August 2013.
