Observed two young adults not migrating. They were brightly coloured and obviously of the latest generation. They were newly minted as we would say around here. They were not faded or tattered. They seemed to be feeding on red clover blossoms. They were the only two moarchs I have observed this year. A very low local population of monarchs in this area despite a bumper crop of milk weed.
