Lots of Monarch butterflies, caterpillars and chrysalises in my yard. I have 17 milkweed plants and lots of other plants that butterflies like. I found that removing the pod seeds before they get cottony helps the plant produce more leaves and discourages the milkweed bugs from breeding. So, several plants that I thought were lost to the milkweed bugs have recovered and have leaves and flowers on them again.
