This is the first Monarch our family has released this year and hopefully three more in the coming weeks. A successful hatch this morning but seemed to take longer then normal.(14 days) We have had cool weather for the last two weeks, perhaps the cause for the delay.
Very few eggs and larva found this year in my region, along with many other people. Lets hope for a warm fall and a successful migration.
