Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 08/22/2013

Number: 6

seeing adults, male and female, along with what appear to be juveniles, who are quite spooky when adults are around.
The little buggers are constantly embattled in territorial disputes over the two feeders we have in front. The saving grace seems to be the butterfly bush, which is in full bloom and quite fragrant. The bush in question is at least 12 feet in height and has spread itself for the summer. The hummers seemed a bit later, but are now here in numbers. Too bad they are not declaring truces at the feeders, though.
