I live in Moore Oklahoma, and as the world knows we had a horrific F5 tornado in May and several others very close to our area. I did not see the usual hummers in the early migration this year. I am wondering if the birds could possibly have known what was coming and stayed away. Even other species of birds that are usually in our area in early spring and summer did not make their usual appearance until later in June. They all seem to be here now and the hummers are here. I have not seen any juvinale hummers this year. Which is very strange.
