I observed three Monarchs as they were flying around the gardens at a home in East Hampton, N.Y. There were many lovely flowers which included budlea, and other nectaring plants. Lots of milkweed as well! I was able to spot two eggs on the milkweed. One caterpillar emerged this morning. I'm thrilled because school begins this week, and the children in my class will be able to observe the metamorphosis process.
