I am almost too excited to type this! I have searched and searched for Monarch eggs, and Monarch caterpillars since early spring. I have stopped also along the highway ditches to search for them there. I have yet to see a Monarch butterfly! I meticulously looked over my milkweed flower garden all summer. I had given up! Just an hour ago my husband and I found 18 good sized Monarch caterpillars! I took some pictures and will post later when I get them all situated.
