Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 08/19/2013

Number: 4

I have spent several weeks in central Wyoming this summer, both in mid June and now in mid August and have seen monarchs both times. This week watched about 4 or 5 fluttering around the alfalfa fields, then they disappeared on Thursday (August 22). But, here is the good news, I have rescued 5 cats from the big common milkweed in my friend's yard. So, they will be taken to her kindergarden class in Shoshoni, Wyoming to educate the kiddos and spread the word about this remarkable insect.
