Sitting out on the front porch today with a friend watching our three butterflies checking out each blazing star liatris. I am hoping all the other monarchs in the city are at the Minnesota State Fair enjoying cheese curds, rides on the ferris wheel and checking out the flower displays in the Education Building. We need to see more monarchs before migration begins so hopefully they'll find out our sunny urban boulevard garden on a busy street in southwest minneapolis has the best nectar in town!! signing off on a super, super hot day....!!
