I went out on White Bear Lake today to see if I could spot any migrating monarchs. At noon, there wasn't a breeze to be had in the 90 degree heat. One lone monarch made its way over the lake in dedicated flight from north to south. Then a NW breeze picked up and I was hopeful for a few more but only one more was seen. It's still early for our area, I usually have better luck in September.
