This was one adult monarch (couldn't tell if male or female) feeding on Brazilian vervain. This took place at a guerrilla garden in the middle of Dupont Circle. There are at least 4 species of milkweed, in addition to dozens of other habitat plants. Last week I saw at least 3 adult monarchs there. I searched for eggs and caterpillars but didn't see any.
