One adult monarchs spotted among tons and tons of gulf fritillaries > many monarch caterpillars on my A. fascicularis plant still in pot from nursery, none on plants in the ground (no pesticides used) > one caterpillar grew in size and the rest disappeared, meanwhile clouds of yellow aphids were selectively hosed off after possibility of monarch eggs diminished > one chrysalis > one empty chrysalis; all during the month of August. Good luck little guy.
