4pm and the temp was higher than forecast....about 94/95F and felt like 100F with humidity (forecast was 90/21F); seems that only 4 butterflies decided to venture out in the heat this afternoon. Cooler temps are expected the next few days so hopefully the numbers will grow before migration begins. It is always fun to see neighbors and casual people biking or walking by stopping to watch our winged friends. Signing off from a busy (and hot!) urban boulevard garden in southwest minneapolis!
