We continue to see a number of female or young of the year at our feeders. In addition, we have had at least two mature males consistently feeding and roosting in our area. These appear to be birds that have summered here as we have been seeing them for some time now. I don't know if we have picked up any migrating birds from the north yet. The males in particular appear a bit on the light side - perhaps not ready for their migration just yet. They are aggressively guarding their feeders though! The number of birds is certainly down from past years.
