Two female hummingbirds have been regulars in my garden for several months, frequenting a feeder (with sugar water, no dye) hanging from a clothesline. They frequently sit on the line preening after feeding. They are also feeding on cardinal flowers. Surprising to me how late into the evening they are still active.
