Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 08/30/2013

Number: 2

This morning I had a male at the feeder and then he just sat for about 15 minutes on the chain I have my feeder at. It was cooler today than it had been. Just a short time ago I had a female at the flowers for quite a while. So, I believe we still a number of hummers still in Rutland. There a quite of few people in the area that feed them and have lots of flowers still, which is great for them. I know that they will soon be heading south. Don't like to think about what is coming, but, that is New England. We have to enjoy the hummers and other wild creatures while we can.
