Two adult males, clearly putting on weight (I almost mistook them for females).

Also seen: One adult female, one juvenile female and one juvenile male (he has a "five o'clock shadow").

Have been gradually increasing nectar's water:sugar concentration from 4:1 in July to now 1.5:1 on the way to 1:1. This will make feeding more efficient and help the birds put on weight for their migration.
