Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 08/30/2013

Number: 1

Female (the one I call itchy) came to the feeder in the rain.
She sat on the Lilac next to the feeder and held
on with her little feet and flapped her wings. I don't know if she was cleaning her wings like the hawks used to do in the rain,
or just hanging on. Then a gust of wind came and blew her off and she flew into the safety of the big pine.
