After not seeing as many hummingbirds this summer as I normally do, there has been more activity over the past week. I have 27 acres with river frontage and walk the property most every day. I am seeing males and females multiple times during the day. They are especially fond of the hosta, salvia and dropmore honeysuckle trumpets in the gardens around the house though.
