I have milkweed plants that came up by themselves in my backyard. The larva were sighted on two plants, but they had eaten every bit of leaf on the plant, so I moved them to two other milkweed plants that came up by themselves in a pot on my patio. There are 5 larva and then 1 adult was flying around the plant as well.
