I've been writing at the window near my hummingbird feeders since morning. Apparently the males, who were so evident and aggressive yesterday, have departed our area. At least for the last six hours, visitors have been all female, including one female juvenile. I continue to watch as I write my sermon, but I think the first big wave of departures has already begun.
