We had 2 adult and 2 juvenile birds at our feeders all summer. A few weeks ago the number suddenly went up to 12+. This happened last summer too but we ended up with 26 that stayed around for about 3 weeks and then one day were gone except for the original 4. Our 11 that are at our feeders now are feeding very actively. temperature will drop tonight into the high 40's. I have 4 feeders out for the 11 birds. All our Hummingbirds are Ruby Throated, male and female adults and juveniles.
