Sunday afternoon, cooler temps (upper 70s, slightly overcast) there were 8+ adults feeding on the liatris. Again, quite intense on feeding. Since it was a cooler day with periodic sun, I wonder if it was a bit too cool as I doubt we have peaked or migration has started. Also, I did notice several blocks away there is a small boulevard garden that also had some blazing star liatris and I saw two monarchs over there. Good to see that others are growing liatris as well -- maybe some of my butterflies decided to check out another 'restaurant'...!
