Congregation of 7 hummers at the three patio feeders, 2 males and 5 females in a single sighting. Continual early morning and evening activity at the feeders with occasional visitation throughout the day. Rose of Sharon's are still drawing brisk activity from the hummers. Also noted on occasion, hummer activity around flower and butterfly garden. Insect population that they would find appetizing slightly below the norm due to drier weekly conditions. While not the high volume of traffic (15 at one time, 6 being male) as witnessed a couple weeks ago, seeing 7 at any one time at this time of the season is really great for us.
