It was around 7:20 in the evening and I was standing by my Hamelia patens when a female hovered a couple of feet from me visiting its blooms. After it grew suspicious of me it flew over to the Salva guaranitica on the other side of my patio and within seconds another hummer showed up and a chase ensued.
