A hummer darted over to the potted red petunias on our porch and hovered for a bit, and spent a few moments eyeing me as well. Magical! Then discovered our feeder (which we had literally just relocated to a shepherd's crook closer to the house) and started sipping. Hooray! I'm fairy sure it was a female -- no red at the throat. Please come back pretty li'l hummer!
