We have several hummingbird species coming to feeders right now in Houston (about 5-6) Every fall female broad tails love to give a good fight. But the sighting in Huntsville, Tx. from Scott and Melanie Brega is a winner. We three Logan's, Clark and Brega are trying to i.d. what I think is a White Eared hummingbird. Journey North needs to be commended for inabling us sighters to to email each other in regards to comments. Gary Clark naturalist/writer for the Houston Chronicle is also trying to i.d. mysery hummer for the Bergas. SEE Scott Brega photo sighting a rare hummingbird!
