Three adults sighted nectaring and flying on Waugoshance Point, Wilderness State Park, near Bliss, MI. They were positioned within 400 yards of Lake Michigan on the south side of the point facing Sturgeon bay.

Approx. 1 1/2 dozen milkweed sighted in a quarter mile radius. Only one plant sighted contained eggs. No larva sighted.

Terrain is stoney and sandy, sparse but hardy vegetation in tundra-like area with marshy coastal area. Raptors and aquatic birds present as usual. Apparent diminished number of frogs from last year.
