Monarch Larva Sighted

Date: 09/01/2013

Number: 1

Finally!!!!! After waiting all Summer, My Husband found 2 Monarch larva on Milkweed out in our Butterfly garden. But only 2.We brought them in the house with fresh Milkweed and placed them in an aquarium with a screened top, to keep them out of harms way from their natural predators. They are eating and growing just fine. Hope the weather holds out until they emerge and are ready to fly all the way to Mexico. Last year I kept 2 all winter, due to the weather turning too cold once they emerged.
