Hummingbird Sighting
Sightings report image

Date: 09/03/2013

Number: 1

Last evening, about 6pm, I saw a hummingibrd feeding on the Firecracker plant, then by the feeder, then on to the Red Shrimp plant. It basically covered about half of my back yard feeding on a number of different plants. I changed out the feeders with fresh sugar water and it returned to feed at one till dark. It must have just arrived that evening as it fed about every 10 minutes or so. Pretty certain it is a female Ruby-throated.
