An unusual male today at the feeder, with a yellow/orange throat. Research I did says this is a male http://www.sibleyguides.com/2011/08/the-mystery-of-the-orange-throated-hummingbirds/ ruby-throat in winter plumage, having shed the red throat feathers. He is highly territorial and will NOT let any birds near his feeder.
I have other males this morning; 4 sat on the same feeder with a female for a few minutes, resuming their feeder bullying.
