I reported sighting 12 because that is all that I can accurately count prior to a mass interruption, followed by flight, and then regrouping. Two female Rufous are establishing their presence today. The "resident" Black-chinned hummingbirds are hanging in there and defending their feeders. They have been draining three feeders daily(approximately 10 cups of nectar)for more than a week now. There have been at least 6 juveniles at the feeders for the past week.
