Two Ruby-throats continue to be in the area; I believe the resident adult female and a juvenile female. It is nice to watch them enjoy the flowers and nectar feeders without getting dive bombed by the adult males. I even observed a juvenile male displaying aggressive behavior in an attempt to defend a feeder a few days ago. I have not seen him in the past few days; perhaps he too has headed out on his Journey South.
