This is more a report of no sightings. I have not seen a single Monarch since July. Worse, any eggs I have found disappear overnight which I blame on ants. The milkweed is flowering just in case one comes by. Not a single caterpillar lived. Most discouraging summer on my records. I have a large number of other species in the yard and hummingbirds but no Monarchs. Heartbreaking.
