Monarch Egg Sighted

Date: 09/04/2013

Number: 1

This morning we are still observing females laying eggs in our gardens at Black Hill Visitor Center as well as caterpillars from 1st to 5th instar. Many of the monarchs that we reared and tagged have been observed in the gardens and mating. Looks like there will be some getting a late start this year.
