Around 3 pm saw approx. 13 monarchs feasting on the blazing star liatris. Larger numbers are much fun to watch as 2-3 are lined up along the same flower. Temps in MPLS were not as hot as last week. Several as they took flight either crossed the street, went to check out the neighbors or pause for a moment on the leaves of the maple tree. Numbers, appearance and activity has been consistent now the last several days.
