Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 09/03/2013

Number: 4

About 5pm (about an hour after my other post), temps starting to drop and the sunny boulevard garden is now in shade except for a slice of sunshine by the driveway. Our winged friends clearly respond to subtle temps because the only liatris that was feeding monarchs were the stalks of blazing star liatris in the sunshine. Signing off from a shady boulevard garden on a busy urban street in southwest Minneapolis (shady except for the slice of sunshine!) pm
