I found 8 larva on August 19th about 7PM on milkweed in my yard. The temperature was about 92 degrees and very humid. I now have 8 chrysalis' which should emerge in 10 days or so. I also saw a Monarch (male) on my butterfly bush the following day. He was very energetic and had vibrant color.
